Details
The strong and silent type who doesn't like to brag! Or say much of anything. I'm sure this delicious snack has lots to say once you break through his dashingly wooden and icy exterior!
He says he's a stalker -- not that we judge, honey! We all have our vices!
Small correction, guys, gals, and nonbinary pals. A Stalker is a vocation, something about mercenary work.
This cherry boy is single and ready to mingle!
He plays the piano and says he's good with a sword. He even expressed interest in finding a few like-minded sparring partners! You know that that means, he's great with his hands and one of them is! Metal! A! F!
(This space, perhaps intentionally, has been left blank.)

[ It's probably a red flag that the puppet is so calm about being jumped by a stranger in a stairwell, that they ended up rutting like two horny teenagers in a shower stall. Even if Wriothesley's suit was largely to blame (and Pinocchio's was getting there), as far as ambushes go, that had ended better than they used to go in Krat.
They'll sit in a moment. This seems to have caught his attention — and probably the attention of a few snooping patrons wondering what soft drama is unfolding here between two men who are very easy on the eyes. ]
no subject
His gaze immediately softens and he merely reaches out to tuck some of Pinocchio's hair behind their ear. It's an affectionate gesture, obviously.] Of course not. To call you a regret would be an insult you are wholly undeserving of. [Wriothesley doesn't think that he has many regrets in life, if any at all.]
If I insinuated that I regretted it, then I should apologize. It is nothing like that. [He had meant it. He had no intention of treating the other like a toy to be discarded.] I hope, if anything, that I can be more attentive to your wants and needs in the future. So that you might not think that I would see our time as a regret.
[Maybe Pinocchio and him are not so dissimilar. Wriothesley was not completely infallible and he could understand the feel of not being wanted. He rarely considered it, but it existed enough that Pinocchio's words touches just a little deeply in his chest.
He also didn't want to be a person who could be so easily discarded. Like merely something to be used. Something instilled by the two people who should have loved him unconditionally, but merely saw him as monetary gain.] Was my inviting you out not enough, perhaps?
no subject
The affection Wriothesley offers him so easily. Pinocchio wants it badly enough that he doesn't trust it or himself with it. His longing has teeth. ]
Stars above, the things you say. [ He mutters, masking his fluster with a furrow of his dark eyebrows that looks approximately like consternation. (Yet, he's a little pleased, too. Flattered? Both.) ] At this rate, I won't be surprised to see you crowned in this ridiculous game.
no subject
[He tugs the other to come with him to sit down. They shouldn't make the waitstaff watch them standing there any longer, right?]
You flatter me. I merely would like to eventually return home. [If returning home means playing the game, then he'll play. He knows how to play and work a system and this one, he thinks, is an easy enough one to work with.] I also am not fond of being in the limelight.
no subject
He's kind, the puppet thinks. ]
It was almost a deadly misunderstanding. [ He insists quietly, once they've sat down. ] I had you by the throat.
[ The puppet's blue eyes sweep over their table pensively as though an idea is taking shape on its surface. ] We will need a way to distinguish between an attack and a request for help. A warning. Something that can be delivered swiftly under duress.
no subject
It would have been deadly if you were that more bloodthirsty to kill me. [He points it out easily. Pinocchio had held back, which was a decision the other had consciously made. He smiles easily.] You refrained though. That says a lot about you.
[He thinks for a moment over Pinocchio's words. He doesn't ask why the other immediately would consider it an attack. Whatever they had gone through, it's obvious that they had lived a hostile environment. Instead-] I think here, it is more likely that people will be under duress to whatever this place might cause for the sake of facilitating sex. [He looks over the selection of teas on the menu as he speaks.
Unless-] Did someone attack you? [Not a sexy attack like Wriothesley had done.]
no subject
Rather than look at the menu, he stares over it at Wriothesley. He may have seen this look before, even if his face is young and his days are few, there's a knowledge etched into the eyes of those who have been bent to another's will and, refusing its reoccurrence with all their might, understand that will is not always enough. ]
I would feel better [ he enunciates deliberately ] knowing when I should ask how I can help, or if it comes to it, that I can ask you for help in return.
[ He lowers his eyes to the menu and recognizes F--... his creator's favorite. Darjeeling. He's brewed it for him before, but he's never once tasted it. ]
I don't ask this lightly, so I shan't hold it against you if you refuse. [ Hoping to lighten the gravity of his request, he glances over the menu again at Wriothesley and offers him another vague, subtle smile. ] Either way, I promise to greet you more gently from now on.
no subject
[Wriothesley was someone who cared deeply for others, regardless of how close he was to said person. Knowing what could happen, he hopes help alleviate symptoms for others.
He leans back in his chair.] I cannot promise I will always reach out, but I appreciate knowing that I can. It's hard to gauge when one might need help. I was actually trying to return to my room when I realized too late the state I had devolved into. I would prefer if I were familiar with who I am if I am going to lose my inhibitions as I did. Thank you.
[He gives Pinocchio a playful grin.] Well, you can greet me roughly if you're promising a good time. [He's flirting a little. Just a bit of teasing. Maybe to help lighten the mood, even if he's also being honest.]
no subject
It would be easy to accept his freely-offered assistance, but he's not sure he trusts himself with it. He isn't sure he wants to let him down. ]
I understand.
[ He feels his smile pull up more on one corner than the other at Wriothesley's flirtatious, playful grin, warmed by the implication. ] However, if I am in such a state and find I've little control over myself, I'll use the term redline.
[ For a puppet who has no idea what a safeword is, he sure is proposing one. His eyebrows lift, a little pleadingly. ] Promise me you'll take care under the circumstances.
no subject
Or he hopes they wouldn't have to.] It would be foolish of me not to care for myself. There are people who rely on me back home that I must return to. So placate your worries, that I will be careful. While I would love to go toe to toe with you in a friendly match, I know the odds stacked against me. [Would he love to fight the other in a nice little spar after feeling what those hands can do? Absolutely. Does he know that in a serious fight for life or death, he would lose?
Absolutely.]
But I will keep note of such a thing. It seems that you seem to understand the concept of safewords without knowing the term. Then I will use Harra Fruit for mine in turn.
[Growing in the hot humid rainforest, it is a fruit with a special spicy aroma. When ground to powder, spices can be made from it. It is the most valued spice plant in Sumeru.
That was what he felt the other might be. A fruit known for its spiciness and the man certainly seemed to have a kick. A well loved and valued spice that works well in tea blends. Mixed with perhaps vanilla or cinnamon, can lead to something sweet like the other can be. Versatile. His tea blends with Harra fruit that he had imported were probably some of his more expensive teas but were worth every Mora and were valuable additions to his collection.]
But please, I asked you to accompany me here to enjoy a good afternoon tea spread, so let us order and we may continue our conversation.
no subject
With his well-reasoned reassurance, Pinocchio appears to be put at ease. The slightly pinched tension around his eyes has eased, and when he directs his attention to the menu, the curve of his mouth seems to be angled upward at the edges. ]
...
[ Ah... he only recognizes two of these. One, because he remembers seeing a tin of it on a dusty shelf at the Hotel, and the other, he had once been instructed to brew it for Father. This could be his chance to finally have a taste.
But does he want to? Does he want to think of him? He glances up, eagerly: ] Tell me your top three, [ he says, turning the menu around and pointing at it, ] And let's order one of them. I want to know you better, Wriothesley.

I can assume, for example, that English Breakfast will probably have a similar flavor profile to Fontaine Breakfast. At least that is my hope. I am partial to teas that have spices brewed with it. Chai is a popular tea from Sumeru and seems that is a type of tea that is enjoyed in other worlds. It is likely that it uses different spices. Actually, Harra Fruit is a treasured spice and has a lot of versatility in its uses. I do enjoy it in tea.
[He pauses before chuckling.] I'm rambling. I guess that I am partial to black teas. Chais, Fontaine Breakfast, and one can never go wrong with a tea that uses Bulle fruit. Bold teas that I usually partake in the afternoon or the evening.

He has a passion for quality tea. A refined commodity, yet he has the rugged body and scars of a man who frequently gets into scraps. It's a fascinating dichotomy that begs a hundred questions about where he's from and what his life has been like. He burns to know... but they have time.
He'll eventually put it together that he knows several people from the same world, but for now, he's enjoying the sound of Wriothesley's voice. ]
We had black tea in Krat, [ he offers, a little unhelpfully, ] I'd like to try something different. Are any of those others on—
[ He slides his menu over to Wriothesley, leaning close while he taps a line with a metal fingertip, ] This says Masala Chai. [ Obviously he's keen, but glances up at him through his lashes, weighing whether to push for it, ] Is that what you meant?
I have googled so many different tea processes because of this man smh
Black tea can mean so many things. The differences in tea is really based on when the leaves are picked and used. There's so many nuances that you might have enjoyed one type of black tea but will find another one to offer something different in flavor profile. [Look, he is fascinated by the process even if he barely understands it all. He doesn't have much of a green thumb and wouldn't be able to nurture one with how he's underwater with very little natural light. It would be useless to try and raise plants.
Wriothesley is animatic as he speaks.] Yes. I enjoy it for all the spices they prepare it with. Chai is just another word for tea. I'm sure that they probably use a tea bag of some kind or something more simple, but preparing it in a more authentic way is very pleasing. If you ever are feeling curious enough, I'm sure that it would be easy to procure the ingredients and to make some ourselves. Did you want to try this blend while we're here? I'm sure I can recommend a good white or oolong tea for you to try if you would prefer trying a non black tea.
[Wriothesley obviously did not have picky taste buds. He couldn't growing up. While he has his preferences, he very much was fond of most things he has tried. It was also more of the experience than the end result sometimes.]
